Force NXS device to operate in 3G mode only

This article concerns only NXS-97xx-3G devices (MAC address starts with 78:A7:14:5x:xx:xx)

 

If you would like to force your NXS device to work in 3G mode only, please perform the following operations:

1) Disable modems in web-GUI (menu Settings -> Maintenance -> switch to off, and save)
2) Connect to your device with SSH and execute commands:

modem /dev/ttyACM6 115200 at+ws46=22
modem /dev/ttyACM6 115200 at#reboot

and if you have dual modem device:


modem /dev/ttyACM0 115200 at+ws46=22
modem /dev/ttyACM0 115200 at#reboot

3) Wait ~10secs

4) Enable modems in web-GUI (menu Settings -> Maintenance -> switch to on, and save)
