Offer the ability to redirect SMS messages that are destined to one number to another. E.g. external system sends an message via API or email to SMS to +64123456 but SMSEagle has a rule set that allows you to redirect this SMS to another number e.g. +64654321.

We have this situation with external systems that are sometimes inflexible, already setup hard coded to numbers and sometimes being able to redirect at the gateway can save alot of reconfiguration for what might be a short time to work around an issue, e.g. Stolen or broken phone or oncall staff change/unavailability. Redirecting at the gateway ensures that any SMS communication goes to where you would want it, rather than updating all external systems for what might be a short window.
