SMS Message Rate Limit
I am not sure if this applies outside the USA. Here in the United States Cell Phone carries flag cell numbers as spam if they send more that 20 SMS messages per minute. I found this out when the AT&T sim card I used for my SMSEagle device was unable to send text messages to Verizon or Sprint phone numbers. After many hours of speaking with tech support for AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint it came down to the fact that the AT&T number that I was using got flagged as SPAM by the other carries not because of the content of the messages but the speed at which the other carries saw them arrive at.
You currently support a feature to limit SMS messages only created using the web-GUI in Compose window. I would like to see a new feature that covers the API and EMAIL2SMS messages as well.
Migrated from the SMSEagle UserReport forum (2018-04-11). Legacy status: Completed.
This does not apply to every provider outside of the USA, nonetheless would this still be a handy feature to implement!
