To read the private groups of a user you need to use the uid.
So please create a method to read the user's details.

Anything like:
{"method":"??.user_read", "params":{"login":"...","pass":"...","responsetype":"extended"}}
Result like:
{"result": {"UID":"[UID of loggedin user]","status":"ok"}}
