i would like to set GSM_ValidityPeriod Parameter for messages sent through the HTTP API. Either as a config value for all messages or as a parameter on the HTTP API request to set it individually for every message.
The GSM_ValidityPeriod is the time, how long a SMS is valid for the SMSC to retry to deliver it to a handset which migh tbe switched of for a while.

We are pleased to inform that this feature has been implemented in software version 3.4. In API methods: send_sms, send_togroup, send_tocontact there is additional parameter "validity" which defines how long message is valid.
