Device has built-in GPIO which can be used to control other devices. At this moment they are disabled.
We would like to know if our customers would like to make use of this ports.

Yes! many SMS Gateway supports IO's. example: to send a emergency sms from UPS if my Server ist down (No Power).
Yes, yes, yes! Possible scenarios:
- close/open a circuit constantly or for a given time in seconds - circuit connected by wires to any device (for example: the RESET or POWER button on a server, universal electrical relay to switch anything, even the light on/off), after receiving a defined SMS from defined phone numer (with possibility to define various SMS texts for different actions)
- send a defined SMS when circuit open/closed by various universal open/closed sensors (on UPS input power fail, open the door to the server room, server chassis open, IR or microwaves movement sensor activation, glass broken sensor, water on the floor, smoke in the room etc.)
- send an answer on defined SMS question from defined administrator phone number, when parametrized sensor connected (humidity, temperature, etc.) with warning sms on bypassing defined threshold
