Add wildcard to blacklist numbers

Cgibson

There is an issue with the system sending texts to landline numbers in the UK.
A wild card option would permit the blocking of sending to numbers that cannot receive SMS or which handle them inappropriately
In the UK and other countries, sending SMS to landline numbers does not work and the eagle will report sent OK but the user will not receive the text message.
the ability to block messages to numbers starting 01*, 02*,03*,08,09 (landline and premium rate prefix) and permit to 07* (mobile prefix)

The reason is that BT who are the main telecoms company does accept inbound SMS and then calls the landline number with an automated text to voice robot. Many people react by putting the phone down thinking its a scam/spam call. If this happens the BT system will keep trying to deliver the message resulting in the customer getting multiple unwanted calls.
