Problem downloading update for MHD device ("New software version available, but support package of your device has ended" is displayed)

Notice: this article applies only to MHD devices (MAC address starts with 00:07:32) with software 3.41

If you see message "New software version available, but support package of your device has ended. Please renew your package" after you try to download a new software in web-GUI, please do the following steps:

1. In your web browser enter the following URL:

https://IP.OF.YOUR.SMSEAGLE/patches

where IP.OF.YOUR.SMSEAGLE is IP address of your SMSEagle device

 

2. Enter code: Q760HXYO and press Download.

 This will install a patch which should the problem. After the patch is installed reboot the device, and see if updating works correctly.
